Ingredients for Black Channa chaat | Kala chana chaat Recipe

Black channa (soaked overnight), Cumin seeds (2 teaspoons), Ginger (cut in juliennes), Tomato (1 medium), Onion (1 medium), Green chillies (2-4), Lemon.Garam masala powder (1/2 teaspoon), Salt to taste, Ghee or vegetable oil (2 teaspoons)

Heat oil or ghee in a cooker and add cumin seeds. Once cumin seeds become brown, add ginger then Toss for few minutes and add garam masala powder then add black channa or black chickpeas and Add salt and water then close the cooker lid and give it 6-7 whistles or until cooked and top it with onion, tomato, chillies and squeeze lemon for a tangy taste
